Ben Nguyen
bio
Ben is a an adventure addict and cultural explorer. By day he is an entrepreneur as the owner of Real Property Management Heritage, and by night, a passionate yoga teacher in Houston TX.
His love for adventure started small. In 2012, he made it his mission to camp and hike at every state park in Texas and spent every weekend for a year in a tent cooking most of his meals by campfire. From there, he explored the back country of Big Bend National Park for days watching falcons and hiking next to cliffs with a giant pack on his shoulders and big smile on his face.
His love for food and cultural exploration took him internationally, backpacking through Europe starting in Rome to the edge towns of Slovakia and Poland. Soon after eating ramen in Japan, rappelling down waterfalls and trekking the Quilatoa Loop in the remote Andes mountains in Ecuador, and living in Budapest for work for 2 months visiting thermal baths and practicing yoga at a studio that taught only in Hungarian. He's been surfing in Panama, long distance trekking hut to hut from Chamonix to Zermatt, and most recently explored the culturally diverse city of Istanbul.
On his first trip with Live Alive Adventures to Chamonix in 2016, Ben found that when people from different walks of life adventure together, they forge relationships that are bound in a unique way. He also found that French bakeries are far superior in making baguettes. YUM! Fueled by food and challenged by adventure Ben is passionate to share experiences with others.
