Amara DePaul
Born and raised in Houston, TX, Amara is an E-RYT 500 and Baptiste Yoga certified yoga teacher, Lightyear Leadership certified goal coach, and self-proclaimed goal digger.
Amara realized adventure was her passion at the age of 11 on a school field trip camping on a Navajo reservation for 7 days. Her adventurous nature led her to start a career in modeling at a young age and moved her to live in Italy at 17. Her career deepened her love for adventure by taking her around the world from Trinidad and Tobago to Brazil and everywhere in between! While working as a model she found her love for long distance trekking and mountaineering and for immersing herself in cultures across the globe.
Having visited over 36 countries by 38, she’s backpacked 100 miles around Mont Blanc, surfed in Panama, summited Longs Peak in Colorado, climbed through the mangroves in Tobago, dipped in the Ganges River in Rishikesh, kayaked with glaciers in Norway, rock climbed in Chamonix, lived in a school bus in Nicaragua, rode horses in Patagonia, and ice climbed a glacier on a volcano in Iceland. These opportunities have provided countless hours of experience in creating the perfect adventure and eventually helped her to realize her ultimate career goal - to take as many people along on these adventures as she could.
Her passion and curiosity for being enriched by a foreign culture and investing in the lives of locals, as well as her experience in curating an off the beaten path and adventurous itinerary lends credence to our brand.
